My mother-in-law gave me Kit Kemp's A Living Space over the holidays and I've been flipping through it most evenings ever since. If you're a design lover, you'll love Kemp's portfolio. Her work is colorful and quirky, my favorite type of design. Her designs are rooted in tradition, but are imperfect and don't take themselves too seriously. She has an eye for detail. Look at those beautiful black and white frames and the crewel work on the headboard and curtains. Every detail is spot on. You can purchase the book here.
