Happy Friday!

Happy Friday everyone!  I'm so excited that the weekend is here!  This week has mainly consisted of work and checking things off my random to-do list.  I picked up the Michelle Armas print for the baby's nursery, I'm rethinking and considering a different rug solution, and things are starting to little better in the baby's room.  I also finally finished a Pinhole Press Photo Book from my vacation with J.D. last year.  I seriously love these little mini photo books.  They're pricey, but J.D. and I are trying to make one for all major vacations so we'll have a little collection over time.

This weekend Heath and I are taking a day trip home to do a major closet purge on my mom's closet.  It should be fun!!  And then I'm attending a baby shower for a good friend from high school while we're in town.  I'm so excited to see friends I haven't seen in such a long time.

A few things that caught my eye this week:

Love Simple Lovely's post on Holding Out For The Right One.  So much easier said than done.  It's so tempting to fill empty spots in your wardrobe, home, etc., especially in our consumer driven world.

I want to make Smitten Kitchen's Banana, Nutella and Salted Pistachio Popsicles.  I LOVE pistachios.

Enjoyed Meg Biram's post of 5 Easy Healthy Habits, even though they all aren't practical to me.  It's perfect motivation for me to keep moving and staying active these last 2 months of my pregnancy!

Last thing, if you missed it yesterday, Heath's on a handbag hunt, and that means trouble for Andy because Heath takes handbags very seriously! :)  I too am in need of a new bag, but I haven't quite figured out how to work the diaper bag/purse combination.

Hope everyone has a relaxing weekend!  Do something summery because Football season is just about here!  J.D. emailed me today about going to the Panther's preseason game next weekend!  :)

  1. Still love that print! And those pinhole press photo books look nice. Seem classier than other versions I've seen. Would you recommend that for a wedding album?

    1. Dinah - I have plans to use Pinhole press to make our wedding album as well. Who knows if/when that will happen!? I think they may even have a size or section dedicated to weddings too. Their books are really pretty so I say go for it!

    2. Dinah, YES! I would absolutely recommend using Pinhole Press for a wedding album. I think their quality is beautiful. I think a wedding album for Collin's parents and your parents would be the perfect Christmas gift too. Go ahead and create your product on their website, but then just keep them saved until you run across a coupon. They offer coupons near the holidays which really help because these beauties aren't cheap!
