Artists at Home | Kristen Giorgi

Next up in our series Artists at Home we have the other half of NG Collective Studio, Kristen Giorgi!  (We shared Kristen's sister Laura's home here last week!)  Kristen's home is amazing guys.  It's absolutely full of life and color, it's perfectly imperfect and has so much beautiful art.  I think in a former life Kristen must have been a lighting designer -- all of her fixtures are so beautiful, and oddly enough I think I could move right in to her daughter's beautiful nursery.  See below for more images, plus to see what inspires Kristen and Laura when it comes to their homes and art.

Last week we shared Kristen and Laura's thoughts on decorating and incorporating art into the home.  We also asked them to share their sources of inspiration.

From Kristen and Laura, "On the interiors side, we love Jean-Louis Deniot, Tom Scheerer, Jon Call, Christina Murphy, Angie Hranowsky, Redmond Aldrich, Betsy Burnham, Kelly Wearstler. We are sartorially influenced by Chloe, Celine, The Row, Delpozo, Rodarte, Michael Van Der Ham, Roksanda Ilincic, and more...Our latest work began with some vintage, mid-century objects we found in thrift stores, and took color palette direction from the runways, building on the "found" concept of things happening by chance yet relating to each other. Our aesthetic is centered on art, fashion, music, literature, and surroundings all connecting to each other in a cyclical way."

Love the idea of an aesthetic centered on art, fashion, music and literature.  Seems very well rounded, and keeps your home from being predictable and boring (and makes you seem interesting!). Thank you again Kristen and Laura for letting us take a look inside your personal lives.  You can find more of their work here.

PS Heath and I both LOVE the piece with white and green above her bed! :)
